Early 1990's Trek part urgently needed **SORTED**

I've searched through SJS in all eh sturmey stuff and a few other, there a things that look close but are not there.
It's just the metal part the clamps you really need, the other part is justa barrel (so and adjuster shoudl work).
I'll search through my bits and bobs but most got thrown out.

or use a band on cable stop (downtube one's may fit) and run a top pull or are you trying to keep it original ?

Or maybe build something up using

I really appreciate you doing all this searching ;) I am trying to keep it original though (the times I've thought of getting a down tube cable guide brazed on are getting more frequent though )

I encountered this prob when building the 'Yellow Peril'

get a quality V-brake noodle and modify it thus:

Sadly that won't work in this instance as the outer needs to move and the inner stays still  Strange but true.

There's a solution.....somewhere

Ask Tintin . His Trimble are using the same principle . the outer contracts and retract pushing the front mech . the inner doesnt move at all .

Tintin sold me a mavic front mech which had been modified to work like that . Ask him hwere he got it from .
I sold that Front mech to some 24Pouces , he might still have it . ;)
