Do I need a longer Bottom bracket?

Yeah, take the crank arm back off and measure it, but you need mm's, so callipers will reach over otherwise improvise with a desk and block of wood (or a clamp/vice to get the outer width and measure the gap in them).*

As drive side is fine, the next size up should be good to push the none drive side out.

*If it is Shimano, the number will also be written on the axle near the cup.
Thanks Ben will need to get callipers too.

Well quick update,

The correct shimano b/b removal tool arrived this morning so I had a go at removing the b/b.

To my sheer joy it was removed in half an hour, none drive side first (plastic) cup then the alloy drive side.
Sprayed in some WD40 left it 10 min and tried it, then it moved!!

So it’s out now it’s a 68x 113 axle so what’s the next size up? 114/115?

116 I believe. But I’d be tempted to try a couple of cheap ones and see which is best fit before buying a nice one.

115, but that'll only shift the non-driveside out (normally). 118 is the next after that and does both side.

did you measure the chainline before you took it out ?

Hi Ben, I didn’t check it I bought it as a frame only and the b/b was still fitted so no idea of what cranks were on before

I mean with your crank on.
It's all about your crank now :)

With your crank fitted and the chainline reads 47.5 to 50mm then you drive side is fame and just the none drive side needs moving out further because you don't like the small gap.
But if it's less then 47.5 then the ring side needs moving out further too.
