Diamond Back Axis Pro 1993 - Finished 01/03/11

Likey the Axis and Apex models.

Mate of mine (Max Gough) had one BITD which was battleship grey with a kind of purple pearl laquer over it. XT equiped.

I agree with the comments about weighty but nice to ride. Always enjoyed riding Max's.

Cheers for the comments :)

I think I shall like this one :)

love that mottled color scheme, are you building with silver or black parts?

Champagne colored stem and bar, silver post, blue&silver (M900 style) for the remainder.

Aim is to have it looking reasonably factory correct.

See one of these for sale on Swedens version of Ebay,

Fully factory fitted nothing changed for 200pounds,

Shame it was way too small for me but could have used the M900 groupset,

Nice work sir

Looking forward to seeing that paintjob in the flesh, I trust we'll be seeing it at a Thetford meet before too long?

Hope to be out on it this Sunday :)

Cheers for the kind words - looking forward to enjoying this one :)

the zoom front end really suits this bike.

Sadly I don't thinks its long for this build :(

I have a black controltech stem and ritchey forcelite bar that are probably going to be fitted.
