Decissions, decissions - which classic road bike to purchase

The Merckx rides really well. The nicest steel roadbike I've owned - compared to a Surly Pacer, Bob Jackson 853, old 60s Holdsworth.

There are quite a few fans of the Corsa Extra on here. If you're a bigger rider (tall and/or powerful) you could also look for a MX-Leader. LFGSS is a good place to find Merckxs without the eBay tax.

Well I am tall, 6,2' but I wouldn't say I am very powerfull at 66KG

Thanks for the links. Sadly the gazelle's are all too short. I need around 56cm top tube. I do like the look of the Jan Jassen listed on here. Never heard of them before though.

The search is over! I have purchased a Gazelle from HerrJ on LFGSS. The frame is too big but the rest is perfect for a project build once I find a suitable frame.
