Just an observation and I don't mean to be a killjoy, but compared with the rest of the condolence threads this year this one is very different to say the least

To each of you that's made a joke about Pete Burns, I ask you one question: "Would you be making the joke if he'd never had plastic surgery?"

Food for thought as they say :)

In reply to your question the answer is probably "yes". Death is what we all have to look forward to and to quote my late aunt who had a wicked sense of humour "Die with a smile so at least it will brighten up the undertakers day" and that she did. She also chose "Knocking on Heavens door" and "Always look on the bright side of life" to be played at her funeral although it was a sad day her humour shone through until the end. Considering the sense of humour Pete had I'm sure he'd of enjoyed the banter Dead or Alive R.I.P

Re:

Who was it that had inscripted on the headstone ' I told you I was ill ' ?

Now that is someone with a sense of humour

Re:

I thought so, but wasn't sure

Anyone remember seeing Tommy Cooper dying on stage?

I do, that was very sad
