Dave Yates Vulcan---Built.

Re: Dave Yates Vulcan.

Id love to find a good, near NOS disc drive for it.

Re:

How the hell have I missed this. You kept that quiet.

That is truly stunning mate – very jealous :)

As a fellow Vulcan owner I think you've outdone yourself there

Re:

Personally I would go for Mavic CD rims, M900, XT seatpost, flite and black stem and bar.

I think you've got to let the paint work standout and I think too much black will overpower it.

Just my two pence worth

Re:

hi
very nice looking paint job. I'm a fan of the e-stay as well.
all black components would look very classy.
but for some reason I think this might look good/better all in silver.
how about the workhorse shimano DX. thumbies, derailleurs and brakes, hubs etc.
I'm sure no one will agree. but just a thought.
what ever you do I'm sure it will be a jaw dropper.

Re:

You could dress this in 300LX and it would still be mega.

Whilst m900 or xt would be fitting, I think this merits something a little more off piste

Campag? Sachs or mavic?

My other idea was picking up on the use of road tubing, maybe some roadie parts, i.e. Period correct dura ace mechs etc, then a few boutique bits here and there to compliment

I sure it will be #amazing whatever route you go down

Re:

To be different Suntour MD stuff would be cool - failing that you can't go wrong with either the m900 route or silver XT groupo with back rings.

Dark anno rims either way.

Re: Dave Yates Vulcan.

Very special this, is it a repaint of the original colour scheme?
All black XT 730 with white Turbo and Araya RM20
