Dave Hinde - Thingy...

I've just had a nice chat with James at Dave Hinde. He was very helpful!

Columbus Cyber tubing was used between 1992 and 2000. The lack of a rear canti hanger suggests that it was made for or after 1996. James rekons that Dave, himself, made this one and it was a custom job for an individual not a stock bike which probably cost £500 - £600 back then just for the frame! And the original decals are still available.

...very similar to my overbury's in look etc. Much lighter though by the sounds of it. My rubbish scales put mine at nearly 4.5lbs iirc.

I've just weighed mine with decent scales and it's 4.2lb

...and been stripping some paint off today. It's much harder to get off than the Blizzard, Explosif and S Works were! :x
