there is a way to 'cheat' the name back on,get a decent quality copy of the decal but keep the normally thrown away 'flash' sticker sheet that surrounds the name,stick the whole lot on the crank and 'weed out' the name leaving the large flash piece on the cranks,then mask off the rest of the cranks so all that is bare ally is the name,then get it fine bead/powder blasted over,remove the masking and youre left with a matt name.
