Cook Bros Stem in 1 1/4 real or fake?

Hi can anyone help to identity this stem?
Seller say it’s a cook Bros in 1 1/4 can anyone say something about it?
It’s steel an originaly the stem was yellow with Blue Cook Bros Decals

It does not have what I consider that iconic Dogbone shape. I'm not saying that they didn't make that one, but it's not their famous style

Wasn´t there a steel Cook Bros stem?



I seem to remember others in that style, but none with a pass through brake cable.

This one seems similar,



but according to https://secondspincycles.com/1986-yeti-fro-xr309/ it´s not a Cook stem.

These would be pre 1990, so a stem in 1 1/4" size would surprise me.

Looks like a Kona stem? But I don't know if they were ever that size?

FAKE! CBR never made 1 1/4" fork anything! They did make a few of the "VGS" series stems in 1 1/8" though.

Hi Jack, can you comment on the CB marked steel stem I posted above? I can´t find any reference to this style of stem being an original.
