Colombo bike info

I'm just restoring this for an 'Eroica' bike, non aero levers, sprints etc.

Anyone have any info on the frame? 'Colombo'.

Something to do with Cinelli? It has a nice 'ting', Gipiemme dropouts 26.6 seatpost

Nice groupset, but will fit period SR crank and derailleurs.

Dunno if this helps but:

'”I want to do business in iron and steel and make a fair and honest profit,” wrote Angelo Luigi Colombo, aged 27, to the lessee of what was shortly to become A.L. Colombo’s small factory' - Columbus tubing.

So would make a guess the bike is constructed with Columbus tubing...

Very nice - but do you have to wear a dirty old rain-coat to ride it? ;)

'Oh, and just another thing.........................'

Looking forward to seeing it 'restored' to L'Eroica standard.
