Talking about the history of Specialized..in particular of the stumpjumper...i wonder if the experts here in this forum ever heard about Mr Frank Di Nucci...who was the very first father of the stumpy project....now he's involved in the craftmanship of wonderful custom bikes in steel (not mtb)....great man and great hands...

Off course I heard about him. They even gave him a special frame color! DiNucci Green. Take a look at the 1987 And 1988 Stumpjumper!
