Freind of mine had a '94 Clockwork (I think) in some sort silver fading to aqua blue at the tube joints IIRC... I didn't like it much - Oranges should be orange, or at least have orange on them!

I am pretty sure you could order pretty much any colour if you were prepared to wait a wee while. I have seen both Clockworks and Prestiges in metallic emerald green, Clockworks in a 3 way Black White and Orange and one in Coffee Creme! a matt beige fade, looked really cool! I even remember seeing a Purple Anodised Vitamin T!
I am currently re building a CR 16r in bright metallic Sky Blue. looks great.
What I am getting at is the paint job is no guarantee it is or isn't an Orange! Assuming you are after a steel framed one, the short one inch head tube, Crud Catcher mount and rear triangle format are usually a dead give away.
