Cinelli Rampichino 1996

I recently picked up this '96 Cinelli Rampichino. I was in a not so good condition as you can see on the first pic. However, after i put in a old Rock Shox Jett with another stem and gave it a good clean it looked hundred times better.

The frame is made with Columbus Thron tubing and equiped with Shimano STX. The wheels are FIR MT240 rims with Ritchey Z-Max tires.
I still need to replace (or repaint) the brake levers and the seat post is also (very) stuck in the frame.

Thats quite a rare and nice bike.

Think it deserves some nice kit to be dripped onto it ;)

What were the original front forks (cant quite see from the pic)?

The original forks were homemade by Cinelli i think. There is no brand name on it. They were painted in the same color as the frame.

is that a stealth anti-radar paintjob too

:D Hmm, i don't think so ;). It's a "raw" paint job that Cinelli called "Hard touch paint" The color is army green.

My other Cinelli is this Stratocaster. It has the same frame, the same specs and same kind of "raw" paint job as this Rampichino.
