I'm looking forward to getting into the shop tonight and installing the NOS 732's. Has anyone ever used the Scott Superbrake alloy finned pads on the XT brakes? Thinking of throwing a set on and seeing how they work.

I wouldn't hesitate to use them on any bike that was a rider.

I ran some on M900's with no issue. M732 shouldn't be any different I wouldn't think. Sometimes those factory XT pads can be stones and the SM's work really well. I think the down side is that they wear the rim quicker.

Don't adjust your computer screens.... you ARE seeing this right. Best $ you can spend on your bike is a proper bike fit. Today I took the Pro Fro over to Retul to blend some of the most advanced technology to my vintage daily driver.

Christ Nick I thought that frame was a monster  but it appears rather small side with you on it

Looks like you had a ball at Retul !

Putting some final touches on the Yeti to get ready for Keyesville.

After a long hunt I finally Installed the GT Epoch II BMX headset.

The original cook brother's stem is still a sweet paper weight on my desk. I have gotten used to this bike by riding it with the current Tioga Stem. The CBR Stem puts my position too far forward and makes the bike handle completely different. I already feel like I am holding on for dear life on the open downhill sections.

I'll bring the stem to Keyesville as well as some other vintage parts that hold their own.
