Car park hose-off?

Re the booicore.Long time back in my white water canoing days getting stripped off at the side of the river was standard practice. The answer was an old bed spread/blanket with a hole cut in the centre to form a changing cape. You could get dried and changed anywhere

Torx have been advertising them on TV over the last few weeks. Review on Youtube:

Yeah, thats the other one i was looking at in parallel to the ryobi. The worx looks much better.

As for the booicore, any race i've been to in the last 7 or 8 years will have at least a 3rd of the riders using one (or a similar DIY/copy/other manufacturers item.)
So not unusual at all.

Re:

The more I think about it the more I think it's all overkill really... I mean, I regularly change into trunks at the beach using a towel. I have plenty of towels. I don't think I really need a noisy pressure washer with nasty batteries either.

Lets see what I can do with what I have already. Don't want to buy any more new plastic shit than I need to.

It's only overkill until you use it, then realise how useful it actually is.

Exactly this, I had a few laugh and poke fun at me when I got mine....

Till they started going home with clean bikes after muddy winter rides :)

And as far as noise goes they really aren't that noisy at all, it's quieter than my k2 karcher is, and that isn't really that noisy either!

Re:

Yeah, no, sorry, I'm in with the general idea...I'm just going to see to what extent I can make do using stuff I already have...rather than going out and spending money on stuff I don't need. I reckon between the shed and the loft there's a workable solution in the junk I already have cluttering up the place.
