Some of you might have seen this on the news but that car doesn't look like it's been under water since 1976
or am I being thick

He disappeared in 1976 after a night of bartending. Nearly 50 years later officials say they found his remains at the bottom of a lake.

In January 1976, Kyle Clinkscales disappeared after leaving his bartending job in LaGrange to head back to Auburn. His remains were just identified.

There's a lot of channels on YouTube about various groups using sonar to locate cars in old missing person cases. Apart from silt some of the vehicles are in remarkable condition.
