Lol. Broke the first one !

Besides with all that Magnesium it’s like riding a firework or a piece of ordinance .... not for the feint hearted or smokers

Just spotted this one on FB if anyones interested

Nice frame but missing the holder for the front mech - which are unique to Kirks, so unless you want 1 x 11 or single speed it’s a duffer

Re:

I’ll be parting ways with my 91 DX in the near future if anyone is interested. If you’re looking for a Kirk Revolution you’ll struggle to find a better example. It’s pretty much as new. Will dust off the cobwebs and put some pics up in due course.

There comes a time in everyone life when you have to make some harsh decisions,

You know they type - where in order to go forwards means there's no going back:oops:

... Okay its time to sell out and do the dirty on my Kirk

look away now if you're easily offended or jump to the front row and pull a chair if your LGF

As previously posted I broke the rear drop out on frame #1

and then front mech holder went to fellow rider in need

Shortly after the rear mech hanger went to another Kirk owner in dire need (that now two Kirks saved)

then came a third request for another unique part - rear brake and that's when things took a darker more sinister turn...

to avoid damaging the part I was forced to consider surgery - now for those who know me I'm no stranger to home surgery of the gratuitous nature only this time not on myself

I can sense LGF eyes are glued to these pictures .....but where this is going now

rather than being screwed in the canti stud on a Kirk is held in place by an Allen bolt from the back which due to restricted access refused to budge, so this is now heading to Jon 918 and he can separate these

with all the chopping there was a lot of Magnesium shavings and thats when things took a turn for the worse

the voices in my head starting talking to me and then it all went horribly wrong
