8 speed chainrings are 39/52, cassette 13-26
7 speed I have to check but I think 39/52 or 42/52.

I really like the 8 speed set- its very nice. However , I need to be 'sensible' and control myself!

I'd like to buy the 1st generation 7 speed set, without the wheels.
