Caad 3 purchasing help.

Hello, iv seen a caad 3 frame and forks I'm interested in. All looks fine..... one thing stood out to me though. It doesn't have a model number on the frame, r600 or r800 for example. I browse different caad frames and iv never seen one without it written on the top tube. Does anyone know more about this than me.
In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter, but so I understand, the higher the r number the better wheels and groupset?

Framesets or warranty replacement frames are not marked with a model designation like my 2.8 which is a precursor to the CADD-3 and also unmarked.
