Agreed that early 90's Diamond Back were a bit of a sleeper brand over here for some reason. You can also add Trek to that category though I think.
The '91-'92 ranges for both brands were really capable bikes in my opinion, especially the upper end DB bikes and the 9* series lugged steel Trek. I still wouldn't mind a 1991 DB Axis Team or the black/pink Trek 990 of the same year

I do have a bit of a soft spot for Diamondback, I just don't see them down here in the Westcountry.

Decision made, as I already have a Marin Palisades Trail here which is putting up a fight with everything seized, it has volunteered itself!
