A purely hypothetical question: say you owned the following classic British steel bikes but could only keep one, which would it be, and why?

Would need to see pics of them, to even be able to think of that list.

For me would be the Roberts, Yates or Zinn.
Not sure I’d keep a disc bike, so for that reason removing the Zinn.
Would depend on the bikes themselves, but probably the Roberts!

also the Roberts.

Reason being, I went to a framebuilders / cycle show a good few years back. There was a lot up up and coming frame builders there, some with 953 frames that have since become more established but to my untrained eye, the Roberts frames were as good as any
