Love the Groovy but not my choice for a modern bike.

Hi everyone,
thanks for all the votes, was a bit of a surprise as some allready noticed it's not a real modern bike for the masses. I had this bike build as sort of a best of both worlds, the retro geometry wich works for me combined with a Rohloff hub and modern (soon to be disc ;) ) brakes. I never made the switch to suspension as I just love the "feel" of a rigid bike. I ride a lot (but not enough :D ) in Holland but also the Alps and even trails like Porcupine rim in the US on rigid bikes and just love the challenges involved. You get direct "feedback" for every small mistake or misjudgement you make wich allways gives me motivation to improve my skills.
Made the change to 29er and fat tyres as my form of comfort and suspension and admit that this is a benefit on long marathons and Alpine trails, but nothing beats the Groovy on my local singletracks :D

Next BOTM 98+ is fully's only so no competition from my side this month ;)

Looking forward for "29ers only" in April as I have something nice coming:D

Thanks again and keep the nice modern bikes coming

Cheers Roy
