I was just answering the question asked matey. . . makes no odds to me and I don't see a big uproar about it either

Sure, the bike should ideally be complete, but it's not a big issue for me (either) if the pedals happen to be missing. :)

I read that there is discontent among some fellow, all I want is to enjoy the bikes, my bike and the others.
I can present my bike at another time, no probem. :D
I enjoy here. ;)

For me while the Cunningham Indian is by far one of the nicest bikes in the vote and in general, for me it just doesn’t scream “Born in the USA” as it’s almost too sensible, practical, reliable, dependable - and many other words ending in ible. It’s too well engineered and understated to fit with my mental image of American consumerist culture where I expect to be spun some line about this years model being 17% lighter, 120% more efficient and make me more attractive to the opposite sex as evidenced in the catalog photo of frames being welded by bikini clad beauties…

Maybe its just the song, but I expect a bike fitting the “Born in the USA” tag to be a little bit loud, brash and somewhat cheesy. If it was Made in the USA, then maybe it would be a different story, but I voted based purely on what the title means to me and the bike which fit it best.

Sooo... My entry should be a clear winner, yes?

Design features such as the bolt on E stay rear do put it right up there :)

the pedal thing is a red herring- the bike is ok in my book- good luck all 3 contenders- great work.

No way, it's a very nice bike and pedals or not, I'd like it to stay. :)

Just anutha hard to decide month …

My top five selection:

Lovely ... Oneschnark's 1992 GROVE INNOVATIONS AGGRESSOR

Spectacular ... Ianus' 1992 Klein Attitude

Stunning ... mfh126's Yeti Ultimate

A truly inspiration bike ... yo-Nate-y's Fat Chance Yo Eddy

And da winner ...StarTREK's Fat Chance Yo Eddy, ein?

Mmmmmm ... yep, rule 13 rules.

How is it ok? The rule is that the bike must be complete. I had a look at the last few years and the rule was complied with. The rule is easy to comply with and, on its face, it doesn't permit discretion.
