dI have inherited a mountain “Bik”. Made by aegis/ graphite technology inc. what is known about these bikes. Im not finding a whole lot of information. Though it seems they where at the forefront of the tech at the time

Cool thing is it has replaceable dropouts so I could perhaps get someone matching some horizontal ones so I could do single speed

No way! When I was contemplating single speed I forgot about the cable routing!

BTW: there are also variants of this frame without the nice internal cable routing (not my picture)


Also for the rear cable stop there are some variations
The round pillar like at your frame but also at the blue one above
or a shark fin like at the white bike above or in the brochure.

I also have seen a Bogner with Shark Fin style cable stop.

once I get different forks for my Marin I’ll have some nice pace forks for this whichll be nice. Perhaps could go in the direction of m737-9?
