Also, this message above is unbelievably arrogant or selfish or something else I'm not sure how to describe - it would make my blood boil if I wasn't so zen!

Are you angry becuase it was "collect only" or because of the "courier scam" they MAY be attempting?

Had the same with a table and chairs

Buyer even asked if I would knock some money off her winning bid as it was working out expensive to sort a courier. Refused my request to cancel sale so had to go through eBay.. It was a right pain hence I sell only through Gumtree now really.
