ARC Mountain Bike Question?

Has anyone ever heard of ARC bikes? I'm not talking Yeti, This one is actually badged as an ARC 1 on the frame. I would guess it's around 1990/91, has Tange tubing and a Deore DX groupset. It also has a Girvin Flex stem.

I can't find any reference at all to them on the interweb. Any shedding of light would be hugely appreciated!

Will be changing the Girvin out for a set or early 90's suspension forks though. Never been a fan of flex-stems! Other than that will keep it exactly as it is I reckon. Looks like a nice genuine bike.

I paid £70. Just thought it looked like a nice frame and you can't go too far wrong with Tange tubing. It's a bit different too - I've certainly never heard of them.

Have been mulling over it for a few days now but decided take a stab at it. Just thought it looked like a nicely proportioned bike. Will post some decent pics up here after I've got it home and cleaned up.

If anyone has a nice (but not too pricey) set of amberwalls that I could put on it then please let me know what you have.
