Thanks torqueless, well aware of points you make, friend of family worked for Holdsworth BITD.

And completely familiar with the Vicenza companies products.

My point is really about the frame, and if the OP needs a 25" frame there'll be few better.

I dont doubt it...and you'd have to go through a fair few forum posters to find someone with less familiarity with 'em than me. Was just making the point about Holdsworth following the same policy as Campag., with the top model getting 'relegated' as new top models appeared.

I don't doubt that either. I just think it's unfortunate if someone is asked to pay over the odds for that frame burdened with a lot of mediocre components.
