I think I’ve just died and gone to YETI heaven, that right there is just amazing!

The paint and decal patina are perfect and that rear wheel :)

Thank you for sharing and keep the updates coming.

No updates planned at this time, just ride without the Tioga ... :D

So glad you like it

Can i have dibs on that front wheel when you split it

Mark

Will not Split, ; this is how it looks with the rear wheel ...

What's the serial of the frame?
Is it for 1 1/4" headset? My '96 has already a 1 1/8" headtube.

Yes it´s a 1 1/4 headset

SN: A 3054

Interesting to see those black stanchions on a Manitou 2.
What did you do there. Aren't they supposed to be chrome?

Yes, they are chrome (steel); those ones are from a Manitou Sport (aluminium) also installed longer M6 bolts and a steel/elastomer conversion; I always liked this combo, as it is similar to the Factory Yeti ones in the transition from the Manitou II to III

( Please forget those Ultimate Machine hangers & the Umma Gummas ... )

So here´s my latest proyect, a 1996 Yeti ARC frame that was a present form a good friend

Very nice, just wish I had friends like yours!! :D
Nice to see it out in the woods and not a "shed queen."

As others have said - very nice

I have to ask, what cassette is that fitted to the Nukeproof hub ?

Now with proper Manitou II stanchions:

Cool ARC! Headset for that one will be 1 1/8”.

M4 would be period for the frame but I like it a lot as is. Especially if you are riding it and the fork is functioning well for you.

I’m not sure when Answer moved from silver to black stanchions but most of my M2s have been silver, however, I have 2 M2 forks that are new in the box and are black, with white Answer text at the top. All on my M3s have been black as well as M4s so a safe bet is that they changed design or simply decided to anodized them black at some point during the M2 life cycle.

You’ve got it listed on pg1 as an M950 which had me going to my Schwinn to have a look

It’s very trick, and suits your build well
