Wanted Another longshot. Campag saddle clamp top plate??

Anyone got one of these lying around?
Threads are fubared and it's marginal if a helicoil will hold.
Bolt is easy to get, just a standard M8 x 1.25 but the top plates are hard to find for steel seatpins.
Anyone?

Rather than a helicoil I'd try a threadsert in that - I had a Super Record pin with light alloy plates, the top plate had a factory fitted hexagonal insert.

Thanks. I did look at those, but they need an obscure size pilot hole - 10.6 to 11.4mm. No idea how I can drill a hole of that size.
Unless you have some tips to pass on.

Also...I'm not sure if M8 x 1.25 counts as coarse. I thought that was medium.

That would be excellent if you have. Even R J Chicken don't have them, and if its available they have it.
