Raleigh Special Products Metal Matrix Road Bike

Just some pics of my Raleigh Special Products Metal matrix Road bike. The main tubes are XMT100 which is an Aluminium, whisker re-enforced with silicon carbide. It was sourced from BP Metal Composites of Farnborough

Googled that and the bike model and what looks like that very bike with the same decal damage was for sale with Hilary Stone a few years back for £375.

Bidding is heading towards that figure, I did put in a bid early on but that's been blown away, probably for the best..... Interesting to see what it does go for though.

That's the road going version of the MT5 / Decade. So rare the photographer was trembling quite a bit it seems

3 purchases, problems with missing parts off the items purchased. Excuses and 3 week post time, pre covid and mail strike. I wouldn't use him again, even though he has some nice stuff listed.
