i was just bored and built the rear wheel first, then why building the front, i thought "hmmmmmmmm" so i tried a few weird lacing patterns. i have a 12 spoke wheel that uses pg spokes....and that was sold like that. i used wide rims to help with stability....it seems fine. much stiffer than some wheels i've had when equalising the tension in the spokes by laying it on the floor and pushing on the rim. the spokes are pulling at quite an angle on the hub which helps....i wouldn't use a hope for a radial!!!
