Advice needed from fixed riders

I think I'm right in saying that Messiah had that cool Explosif of his set up fixed and was using it off-road?
He'll be the man for some advice, I reckon. I seem to think he was using 32:16....

My favoured mtb fixie gear is 42:19, I found it great for charging around the fields with my daft dog. A gear somewhere between 2:1 and 2.5:1 should suit you about perfect, fixie gear is great fun, heartily recommended.
