We will be putting on a ride for Uncle Vern, starting at Scaling dam,



Saturday the 25th of June, meeting at 10.00am, for a 10.30 start.

The route will be around 20 miles with some decent climbs, Si Jackson has a route in mind.

Bring some food with you as I am not sure about any food stops as yet,

No helmet, no ride!

A few of us are making a weekend of it, stopping at the Magpie wood campsite, if you would like to join us, get booked in ASAP

I will update the tread once I have spoken to Si about the route, this is just to get it out there.

I am going to go for Saturday and Sunday, scailing dam is a great ride ,if it’s the same one we did a few years ago ,one of the best days out I ever had.

I'm heading back from Scotland on the Sat but will be going up on Sunday .

We will be heading over to the Yorkshire Cycle Hub in Fryupdale so no worries on food. I'll be giving Phil a heads up on numbers in the week leading up to it.

Route is a cracker with two long moorland dscents and some fine vistas. A fitting send off for a top bloke!
