That head tube was designed by Bill Stevenson for the Alpinestar T24. Bill has work for both Alpinestars and Gary Fusher, were he developped the EOS geometry of the Montare and for Alpinestar

I actually bought the bike locally from the original owner.
I bought it mainly for the parts as I was planning on building an AL-1 or similar and this has the original saddle tyres and grips etc.
