What was the name of the XC Race/Lightweight Air sprung fork Marzocchi did in the late ninties? It came out a couple of years after RS released the first SID and was supposed to be a direct rival to the SID???
I think it was called Marathon, remember seeing one in white in MBUK BiTD.
Might be the ideal fork for the C'Cone.
Maybe you mean the X-Fly, the Marathon was later.

From memory, the respective weights of the forks you're talking about were roughly SID 2.8, X-Fly 3.2 and Judy XC/steel springs 3.7. And a Z2 Light is 3.8 , Z2 BAM is 4.2, Z2 BAM/alu steerer is 4.0. I still say the Z2 suits the character of the Cinder Cone best and the Z2 Light is the fastest of these forks, much better steering and braking quality than the early SID.
