So since I began re-investing time, effort and a large amount of £££ into collecting, building and riding lots of 'old shit bikes' and 'bits and bobs' (according to the better half) I decided to build her something funky and more importantly size appropriate (she's very petite) so that she may have a little insight and then hopefully share my interest of collecting, building and riding said 'old shit bikes' and 'bits and bobs'...
With this in mind and me always being a fan of the Stumpjumper M2, I couldn't help myself when a pal, @ExpertBlay posted up his lovely little green 13.5" Stumpy M2 that he had earmarked for a build...
Fast forward half an hour and a few messages backwards and forwards, I was a few beer tokens lighter and in possession of the stumpy!
So after it was safely home and with a little nod of approval from SWMBO (She's a fan of green!
) the mock up began...
...A nice set of RC36 Evo's, all freshly rebuilt by the wizard that is @justbackdated
As it currently sits, with and without bar ends...
So groupo will be M739 XT. Bars and stem yet to be confirmed, but currently wearing a Syncros Cattleprod and Answer taperlite bar, looooong Thomson post (so I can ride it sometimes!), the obligatory Flite and yet to fix myself on the wheelset and tyres, but I think we're getting there...
Any thoughts or opinions are welcomed kids...
