Posting some pics of a recent build. Frame is a 1996 Giant Terrago, aluminium model. This one is from the Netherlands I believe, but not been able to find the catalogue entry for it yet.
Most of the parts have been swapped out to build it up to LX overall, including hubs, cranks, derailleur etc. Magura HS11s are original to the bike, but have been refinished by me to bring the bling factor up.
The forks are original but have been refinished in "Ford Purple Velvet", along with the Kona Velocity stem which was swapped in for weight savings.
Brake lines were replaced Shimano BH90s, which interestingly will fit perfectly in reverse on Older Magura Levers to enable cleaner routing.
Handlebar is a Sakae "cruiser" style bar upside down, with bar ends mounted to facilitate a more upright and comfortable position.
