'95/96 Rourke 853 - Judy's fitted (p4) 31-05-12

Lovely, everything just fits together like peas and carrotts.

cool.

A fantastic looking build.

Its simple yet elegant.

my 2 cents ...... I think the current fork colour works well but agree a black fork would look great too.

How about a black bomber fork with a polished silver brace - could also mean that you didn't have a redundant canti hanger.

The forks are great for us *ahem* larger *ahem* gents as they have a fair bit of adaptability.

I wish I could build simple but yet elegant bikes :(

Cheers Mark,

I've looked at 'zocchi's but they seem too chunky for the skinny tubes of the frame...

I've just bought a v'brake brace for the judy's so that should dial out the redundant (and ugly) front canti hanger...

You do build some nice bikes, believe me..

Steve,

This is a really great looking bike. That version of XTR isn't one that looks easy on a bike (IMO0 but it seems to hang really well on that frame (which is really something special!)

I like the forks that you have. I think that black ones would be too 'heavy' looking and the light gold of the RS really compliments the rest of the colours well.

Looking forward to the finished bike :D

I'm totally undecided on the Red Flite, so opinions please. I think I prefer the Grey one I had on there before. Or I could try a black??
