TGR, all, an old frame builder and francophile, a good friend, Norris Lockley, Settle ,north Yorks, who built a lot of hi end and custom stuff for TT and Track , Tourists etc told me that many mistakes were made by jobbing builders in factories where they brazed the seat tube in arse over tit ...in many cases this ended up with a 26.6 or .8 or if they had enough meat a 27.. I've been looking for a reamer for some time, an old school one.. no doubt you could make one from a 10mm steel bar slotted with heavy glasspaper or a disc cut to suit and clean or ream the crap out by using this in a drill, carefully of course as there will be a heat build up.. will
