At a guess I’ve put about 5,000 miles on this since new. It’s been well looked after but there are a few minor scratches and some signs of cable rub etc. Currently set up as a monster cross bike i.e. 45c Fire Cross tires and Woodchipper’s but changing back to the original Tour Ride’s and a set a mudguards makes a very comfortable touring machine.

Looking for *£600 (collected). I do travel up from the Bristol area to Manchester fairly frequently, so I could meet somewhere on the M5/M6. If that’s not an option I could post but I’d need to find a box, figure out the postage costs etc.

Re: 2012 Salsa Vaya 3 gravel/touring bike (54cm)

Can I have a pic of the clearance on the rear with those Panaracer FC 45s.
Also you you be willing to split for the feame and fork only?

Re:

Here you go. From the side knobble to the chainstay it's about 6-7mm.

Sorry, I don't want to split.

Re: 2012 Salsa Vaya 3 gravel/touring bike (54cm)

Thanks for pics. Yum 700c fatness. Thinking, as hiding a full bike at home is hard these days. But while i think - fee bump.

Re: 2012 Salsa Vaya 3 gravel/touring bike (54cm)

Really nice. I had a Vaya F&F and can vouch for this as great touring bike with 32/35 tyres.

Good luck with the sale

Re:

Thanks, I'd rather not sell it but I bought a Surly ECR, so it's not really being used anymore but it's taken nearly a year for me to come around to the idea of moving it one  .

Changed the set up today and I've found a spare inner tube, a Topeak Aero Wedge saddle bag, three Blackburn bottle cages and a couple of bottles which I'll add to the deal.

Any takers..?

Re: 2012 Salsa Vaya 3 gravel/touring bike (54cm)

Lovely bike and build. If it were my size I'd have it. Currently building a Vagabond to a similar spec. GLWS.

Re:

Thanks. Haven't had any offers yet but hopefully at some point someone will get in touch!
