2001 Orange 222 dh race bike

I owned an original Global Racing 222 from 2002. The color was different.
I know the saddle and the bar looks stupid. But it was the time for such mistakes.
The other parts should be original.
I bought this bike 2005 from Austria. And I sold it 2006 :-(

I know the stickers were offered by http://www.indiansummer.ch/ at this time.

And thanks for the pics of your old bike. Looks good. The gold bars was protaper, right? Nothing stupid about them... Looked good and was the thing to have. Generaly like the clean white frame wither the global stickers. Orange did to much English flag stuff to my liking in their original sticker kit...

This one is UFO's old frame. I cannot be allowed to buy it from him. So its like a long term loan where I am commited to do at least a number of DH trips with him a year in order to have it under my wings... like a race team, just without the race

If you have a rear m755 caliper I'd be very interested in it! I've got a pair of the original xt levers (m756 I think? the one with the 90deg join at the lever) levers if you wanted to swap.

That looks stunning. Really nice. Was it a original team bike or did you find the global stickers somewhere? Please post the pics you got. Always nice to see.

I don't think I got the calibers. At the moment I only got saint brakes fore mine. But I am on the lookout myself. so if I find a batch I will let u know.

What did you do to the front shock mount? Is it painted or? Looks good with the Blue parts on it...

I got the global stickers from Orange a while back. Just never got around to stripping the bike and getting it painted.

Shock, pivot hardware and hubs I had anodized.

You may be able to get a standard set of 222/223 stickers and use photoshop to change to colours? Also the 2001 and 2002 Orange pdf catalogues have a couple of pictures with the team bikes from Minnaar and Hannah.

Is it a Pace stem you got on your own frame? I had such one on a Bullit with Pace forks once. Real nice craftsmanship on that...

I will email Orange about the Global stickerset. They may have them still. I have not even given it considerration that they would have them so I have not borthered to email them til now.

You should call them if possible, theyre very friendly and helpful. Have your frame number to hand as they sometimes ask for it.
