1999 19" Kona Explosif Frame and build kit.
This is probably one of the last true Steel Kona Frames and a very good example of the Explosif. Unfortunately a build I haven't got time to finish....so I'd rather it went to a good home with someone that will finish the the build and appreciate it!
Parts selected for a retro-mod build include :
1999 Explosif Frame : Reynolds 853 steel (if you are looking at this your know what it is!)
2001 Rock Shox SID from the Fork (120mm travel) : could do with a service but good condition for age wi th un-marked stantions.
Hope Traditional 1 1/8 Headset (brand new - minus stem cap / head Doctor)
Installed Shimano XT MT800 external bottom bracket (brand new for Hollotech crank)
Shimano XT (M780) 2x front Mech (brand new)
Magura Hs33 "Tomac" hydraulic rim brakes (boxed with all fittings and quick release clamps)
The reserve is a realistic £350. Drop me a message if interested outside of Ebay. I may also consider parting.
