1998 Ventana Marble Peak FS

Greetings from SoCal.

Here’s my 1998 Ventana Marble Peak. I hadn’t ridden it for a couple of years, but the COVID-19 shutdown inspired me to clean it, put on some new tires, and get it back on the trail.

All the components came with the bike 20+ years ago, and are in good shape. It’s a mix of SRAM, XTR, Race Face and Syncros components. Headset and hubs are Chris King, and the front fork is a White Brothers XC90. Shown here with a Fox Alps 5 air shock, I also have a Fox Vanilla R coil over.

nice, would like to see some more close up shots of your bike. The Ventana hardtails i have seen are beautifully made, never seen a FS before but imagine its the same quality.

Thanks. I see you have a few Alpinestars frames. I have a 92 Al-Mega XT I still ride. Great bikes!
