1997 Schwinn homegrown Factory full suspension xt

So I got the rear end polished up which took a lot longer than expected :LOL:
I also decide I couldn't put the horrible brake bosses back on so bought some ti ones.

I cleaned up the forks and rear shock. Got some 97 sl's instead of the 96 ones in the mock up. These have total air carts in them.

I serviced the rear shock and replaced the O-rings but forgot to take many pic's.

I then decided the judy crown needed to be polished to match the rear end.
So some more wet sanding.

Very impessive results

Can I ask what you used to polish your metal Rear End and Stantion with :?:

Plain old Elbow grease, Autosol and plenty of time

or a Buffing wheel

It's sat downstairs awaiting more time to complete it. I have most of the parts I just spend more time fixing other peoples things than mine:-D
