I recently bought this Raleigh Cosmos mountain bike and I'm looking for information about this model.
After looking at the catalogs that the community members have posted here (thanks to them!!), I think this bike is a 1996 vintage (I think it looks a lot like this year's M-Trax or M-Trax Lite with the oversized Cromo technology) but I would have liked to have more information if possible.
The bike was bought in a store in Mulhouse, in the east of France and the shimano equipment was unchanged by the owner: full Deore XT except for the front derailleur (LX) and the brakes are cantilevers with specific brake pads holders.
Finally, there are two numbers engraved on the frame: one on the top of the seat tube (RB / 0863) and one on the bottom bracket tube (LK373165) with the small "Made in Italy" sticker.
