1996 Marin Pine mountain (with many shiney bits!)

Impulse buys I know them well I'm after another pine mountain or something close at the minute as I'm looking to do something a bit different, marin steel frame and P2's copper plated with green wildgripers sounds wrong but watch this space.

saw Kilauea on ebay over a year ago that was copper plated i think. Did look nice. How will the weight compare to a painted frame though, thought it might make it heavier? What size of seatpost is in your frame staf? had one bought for a different build which is enroute but not sure whether or not to use it on this build

Can't see it making much difference on the weight front but I'll ge able to tell you soon enough, if you thing about it orange used to nickle plate and that did no harm.

As for the seat post size I think it was 26.4, but as I said I built this one for a friend so unfortunately it's not here to measure.
