Thanks for sharing that, a lovely bike. These old Treks ride great. My 13 year old grandson tried my 950 earlier this week and I couldn't get him off it. He's was amazed that you can actually ride off road without any suspension.
I'll find an alternative to Photobucket and start a thread on the bike.

It's true! These ride so smoothly. I have a 2.35" Schwalbe Hans Dampf up front, which helps too.
 
My wife runs one as her road bike, it's set up 1x9 with a 48 tooth chainring, . It's so easy to peddle you just wind it up to speed and can cruise along in top all day. Surprisingly light frame, easy handling
