Always nice to see a titanium bike :D The fork matches the frame pretty nice. I wonder why there are so few Diamond Back Axxis TT around. My brother owns another one:

One of my all time favourite bikes.

Sleek, not in your face, a real dark horse.

Cheers, nice to get a mods approval

This frame has undergone various builds in the 5 years I've had it, from a fairly modern build, a period correct build with m900 and Amp forks, a singlespeed build and a drop bar build. I never got it built in a way I was completely happy with, and it often went months without being ridden. At one point it was stripped and listed for sale.

I found some titanium forks on ebay this year, and decided to build it again with mostly titanium parts.

It's now probably my favourite bike. I recently completed the Whitehaven to Sunderland coast to coast and this was the bike I did it on. As you'd expect with a lot of titanium parts, it's very compliant. It accelerates incredibly and climbs effortlessy but is twitchy at high speeds.

That is the dog's. Big Diamond Back fan, rode a 1992 apex for many years and did some series mountain biking on it. It took a real beating. I would have sold my family for that back in the day. Currently have a axis with onone titanium forks and a few other decent parts. I must get a photo on here soon. But that is lovely, nice smoke rear tyre to complete the period look and performance.
