Senior Retro Guru
Not one for the retro gurus, this, but I just finished a Hahanna build for my sister (hence the name). It's a nice little go-anywhere bike - and it should keep her off a BSO, at least!
Frame: Cromoly butted, 15".
Fork: P2 (1" which is why I'm guessing at pre-97?)
Mudguards: stolen from 700c bike. Mud clearance? Ample!
Mechs: something from the depths of the Shimano parts bin
Cranks: Sugino 48/36/22, 160mm for little legs
Pedals: pretend V8s
Saddle: Selle Royal Contour
Bars and bottle cage: pink ano (cheers Dead Rats)
Stem: Sakae
Shifters: Gripshit
Levers: Kona
Cantis: C-star
Pads: Ritchey "extreme conditions" (cos they are the blue ones, innit)
Wheels: Araya rims on Alivio hubs (karma from this forum - thank you!)
Tyres: Panaracer Crosstown
The brakes, I have to say, are bloody brilliant. Best set of cantis I've set up so far. The shifters are woeful. Avoid early budget Gripshift at all costs.
