‘93 is the year I got into mountain biking. I remember seeing a Lava Dome in a bike shop window (Crag Rat Cycles Lincoln). I couldn’t believe you cold spend so much money on a bicycle! £525 from memory with P2 fork :shock: . Then I discovered they did even higher specced & priced bikes...

Man, loved Konas from that ere & still do..

Just to add to this thread, I have an identical Kilauea which needs touching up (a lot). I've ordered some RAL3005 which looks a close match to the red but until I've tried it I won't know for sure. I'll keep you posted.
